CIM Horyzonty invites three EVS volunteers (from Germany, Ukraine and Spain) to take part in the project: ”EVS for raising intercultural understanding”. They will stay in Poznan for 11 months of activities (from 1st of October 2014 to 31st of August 2015).

Volunteers will run regular workshops for children and youngsters using non-formal education methods, art and sport activities. The workshops will take place in local schools (primary and gimnasium), kindergardens and Cultural Centre ”Krąg” in Łazarz District (focused on working with children and seniors).

The main aim is to raise intercultural understanding by introducing interculutal dimension into the local community through animation of youth with foreign volunteers. Activities with non-formal education methods help to activate and integrate local community, develop intercultural competences and tolerance. Moreover by promoting EVS and Erasmus+ Programme, european volunteers raise awareness about European Union and european citizenship.
